Beck Toro-Gordon

Beck Toro-Gordon is one of Capstone’s Market Researchers, leading the firm’s R&D efforts and turning information gathering into actionable insights and tools for improving the client experience. Despite his young age, Beck is a master problem-solver and has become a valuable resource for the broader team in navigating emerging technology, particularly AI tools. By helping colleagues better understand their capabilities, he has helped drive greater AI adoption across the firm, which, in turn, has helped everyone be more efficient. His responsibilities extend well beyond research, including leading Capstone’s summer internship program, overseeing vendor compliance efforts, and spearheading the firm’s client outreach initiatives. No matter what lands on his plate, Beck tackles it with a smile and the kind of positive attitude that tends to rub off on everyone around him.

Beck is currently in his third year at Montclair State University in New Jersey, where he is studying finance and business while beginning to build his professional career. A 4.0 student who is regularly on the Dean’s List, he brings the same drive and curiosity to his work at Capstone. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Beck hopes to pursue a graduate degree abroad, combining his love of travel and airplanes with his continuing education. His early work experience, centered on retail sales, gave him a foundation in customer service and communication well before entering business aviation. Beck also takes great pride in his volunteer work, where he teaches children how to ride mountain bikes, helping them get excited about the sport and encouraging the benefits of an active lifestyle.

While Beck genuinely enjoys spending time with his coworkers, who are all “a pretty good time” according to him, he has plenty to keep him busy outside of work. Happiest outdoors, Beck is an accomplished downhill mountain bike racer who has been competing for years and has won many races along the way. He also enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with his girlfriend and friends. Beck is the younger of two siblings and lives with his parents, along with Kali, the latest addition to the family, a Bengal kitten with a snow-leopard-like coat who is full of personality and charm.
