Joan Dwyer

Joan Dwyer serves as Capstone’s Vice President of Sales and Client Relations and is a key member of the firm’s leadership team. She oversees charter sales, new client acquisition and onboarding, and client relationship management. Joan has also played an instrumental role in the design and development of Capstone’s proprietary technology platform.

With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, Joan began her career in various roles at Capstone’s parent company, Guardian Jet. There, she analyzed market trends, tracked aircraft values, and gathered critical data to support strategic sales decisions. She also developed deep expertise in The Vault, the proprietary technology that serves as a cornerstone of Guardian Jet’s, and now Capstone’s, product offering. She later broadened her charter expertise through a sales role, focused on wholesale client relationships and operational performance. Joan is an alumna of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she earned her degree in Aeronautics.

Drawing from a lineage of aviators, Joan is both an accomplished pilot and a natural coach. A Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor, she has trained and mentored numerous pilots and genuinely enjoys sharing her love of flying. Her warmth and natural ability to coach others extend well beyond the cockpit and are among the qualities that make her such an effective leader. Outside of work, Joan values time with her family, especially her nephew. A social butterfly by nature, she also enjoys unwinding with friends, playing chess, and spending time near the water. Whether sailing or simply taking a walk along the beach, being by the water is one of her favorite ways to relax and tap into her creative side.
