In her role as Capstone’s Senior Accountant, Alexandra Louis plays a critical role in the company, maintaining the financial foundation behind its operations and supporting the organization’s continued growth. With over 25 years of accounting and finance experience, all within aerospace and business aviation, Alex brings deep expertise across treasury, accounting, reporting, planning, and analysis. She helps ensure Capstone has the controls, visibility, and processes needed to operate efficiently while continually identifying opportunities to improve how the Managing Partners understand and manage the company’s finances. Just as importantly, Alex provides leadership with the forecasting and insight needed to anticipate future needs and make sound strategic decisions, particularly important for a growing organization committed to responsible, measured expansion in an industry where a strong financial foundation is key.

Alex began her career with a major aerospace OEM and helicopter manufacturer, building her foundation in corporate finance through roles in treasury, cost accounting, and financial reporting across its global operations. She later brought that experience into business aviation, taking on broader responsibility for the financial functions behind aircraft management and charter operations. During that time, Alex gained firsthand experience with industry consolidation, navigating four mergers and acquisitions and their associated financial and operational transitions. Throughout her career, she has managed complex financial operations, ERP integrations, and process improvements while developing high-performing teams and strong business partnerships. Her academic credentials include an accounting degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a master’s in Accounting and Business Management from the University of New Haven.

Alongside her many professional accomplishments, family remains at the center of Alex’s world. A proud mother of two, a son and a daughter, she cherishes their shared love of basketball and football, a passion that brings the three of them together. Completing the family is Sailor, her beloved Maltese and honorary third child, who holds a special place in the household. In the warmer months, Alex is happiest near the water, soaking up the sunshine and making the most of long summer days. When the Northeast winter settles in, she embraces the quieter comforts of the season, especially curling up somewhere cozy with a good book.
